A group of sisters/missionaries visited our house for some caroling. They seemed to be based around the San Francisco Area, coming from different cultures.... their pianist is Singaporean, the guitarist is from Long Beach (LOL, we're practically neighbors!) Their percussionist is from Carson and the rest of the group are a mix of Mexican, Argentinian, Guatemalan.Filipino, Australian, etc.
It was so cool! The songs were a mix of our traditional Christmas Carols and some contemporary ones and some Filipino Carols too (which is quite understandable, we are a Filipino household, afterall...)
There had been a pause in the middle for a bit of prayer and deep contemplation, while holding Baby Jesus in our arms, just be thankful for all the blessings we had this year and hope for more blessings to come in the coming year.
Having them this afternoon was just so enjoyable and very reminiscent of this holiday season!
