More on My Sims...

I've been simming most of the afternoon today and my sim couple (Xian and Leslie) celebrated their son's sim birthday today. And because it wan an ordinary workday and Mom and Dad needed to go to work afterwards, Lucien Xian (I nicknamed Xien) had a simple blowing of the cake ceremony and had a bonding moment with his parents before going to work.

I still can't figure out who takes after but I think he got his mom's
eyes. and below is the pop-up message after blowing the candle on his
birthday cake.

After a few sim days, I think Xian has no choice but to be close to Dad, because being the CEO of his own company, Daddy Xian has less work days than his Mommy Leslie, who's still a thriving star reporter /writer in the making. So Daddy has more bonding time with Xien. Xian only works 3 days a week and comes home as early as one o' clock in the afternoon, but can/will hold meetings anytime during the day--- even after work.

He loves playing with his xylophone and blocks, and enjoys being read to by Dad. Good thing, Dad frequents the bookstore a lot and buys books him. Xien seems to love books like his Mom, who's a book lover.

While his Dad took care of his potty training during the day (when he doesn't have work) Mom painstakingly took the time in the afternoons after work to teach Xien to talk While Dad takes care of preparing dinner for the whole household.

I think Mommy Leslie is doing an awesome job
teaching what women do best : TALK!
