100th Book....

I just posted my 100th book I've read on my tagalog romance booklist. I've chosen to read Martha Cecilia's Impostor. I've decided on this one because the TV series version of this book is starting on Monday (May 17) and I wanted to differentiate what's changed and what's different between the book version and the series made for TV.

As much as I really liked what I've read (I just finished the book this evening.) I'm pretty sure the version made for TV will have a lot of extra scenes.... not described or read in the book itself just to make it longer and more elaborated than what's in the book. I would not be surprised if the extras are I could consider "side stories" leading to the main plot itself.

• The real story behind Divina "Devin" Ventura's parents, Don Manuel and Lira, and the "circumstances" of their marriage.
• An elaborate backdrop as to why and how Jason and Mariz Florencio's was on the verge of divorce, which led Mariz's infidelity.

Sam Milby as Anthony Florencio
(The main male character in the book version is "Jason Florencio"
obviously changed to Anthony Florencio.)

I'll be posting comparisons between the book version and the TV adaptation in my future posts as I watch the series. I hope this whatever changes and differences made won't be too disappointing because I love the book version.
