Kim Hyun Joong's newest drama, A Naughty/Playful Kiss (장난스런 키스) officially starts airing today in Korea and as most of you know, I've been anxiously waiting for this drama for quite some time now! Being also a fan of it's anime version, Itazura Na Kiss, I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy this one...
I haven't seen the Japanese drama version of this series nor the Taiwanese version, which for now I see as a good thing, that will keep my mind focused on just one thing and not end up comparing this one with it's other 2 predecessors. Besides, even if I saw the other two, I'd be too biased about it, because I strongly prefer K-dramas, (even though, I watch Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese too.) and Kim Hyun Joong!
But I heard from the grapevine, that it's going to be a somewhat loosely based from the original manga version and not the anime so I'll definitely see a lot more that isn't in the anime. I've never read the manga so I guess I'm up for a few surprises along the way! But If I do see an english translated version of the manga, I'll definitely get into it.
This drama will definitely wake me up from my asian drama watching slumber! I read from Soompi that it is going to be English subbed by Haru-Haru Subs and I can't wait till the subtitles are out! I'll start downloading the HD episodes as soon as they are out too!
