Bitz About Hamsterz 2....

Regarding my post the other day about my frustration with the NDS game, Hamsterz 2 has mellowed down due to some "googling" I did. I was itching for my hamster couple to mate but one thing I did forget was that Skittles, the female hamster given to me by my "cousin" in the game was a pup of her two adult hamsterz and my other hamster, Linx that I bought at the pet store also is a pup too so in other words they can't really have their own pup yet (SIGH)

Here are other points I learned about the game :

  • Petz Hamsterz turn to adults after more that 21 days of ownership. (it's based on the time on the Nintendo DS.)
  • One male and one female of the same breed can mate and have a pup, except for breeds, Cambell and Dwarf which can be partnered together.
  • Feed Hamsterz only once a day or they might get too fat or overweight and get sick in the process. (No wonder both Skittles and Linx are overweight after just 3 days! I always put in pet food when their food dishes are empty.)
  • People I meet at the pet store who have hamsterz as pets too can be partnered with my hamster given that I become "friends" with them and our hamsterz spent a considerable amount of playtime.
After less than a week, I can say, I'm loving this game considering that the hamsterz are cute and its an easy casual laid back game that I can alternate with my Animal Crossing and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
