Out With The Flu....

I apologize for my silence in the last couple of days. The flu bug has been going around and I thought that I would be "spared" from it since my Mom has finally gone over it last weekend and I didn't show any signs that I caught her bug but I think spending some time with Sam last Tuesday and hanging out for a bit outdoors in the the cold evening air has finally caught up with me. I even missed a hang-out session with the gang tonight at Yamabuki Japanese and Karaoke Bar because of this stupid flu!

And to think, the girls said they had a surprise waiting for me... I wonder what it was all about? Anyway, I don't remember a specific significant occasion tonight... I even actually checked my annual calendar just to see what could this "surprise" be all about. ( There were none.) I admit I am curious about it -- actually curious enough to forget about my flu and just go but my body wasn't really cooperative today so I had to bow out of it, despite of a lot disgruntled and dismayed sighs, ifs and buts I heard on the background when I gave Bunny a call when I was pretty sure everyone's already at the bar. It made me wonder what they've been up to... had I been set up into a practical joke if I did come?

I GUESS I'LL NEVER KNOW...
