My Love Is Here...

Most of you know that I'm so into Tanging Yaman (roughly translates to "Only Treasure" in English) right now. It's one of those shows that keeps a low profile with no really big stars in it. It showcases pure unadulterated acting and with a good plot that gives the viewer a realistic view of how life differs from those who are rich and poor.

The plot is about Josefina "Fina" Dimagiba, (played by Erich Gonzales) who's raised by a poor family who mistakes her as part of their family when a tragedy at provincial hospital strikes. Years later, she discovers her "adoptive" family's mistake and is out to find out the truth about who she really is... and as it turns out, she is the long lost daughter of the current president of the Philippines who has been presumed dead since the provincial tragedy 18 years ago.

My favorite characters in this series are of course, Fina and Jomari, (who's played by Enchong Dee) the son of the vice-president of the Philippines., they have this theme song on the show, My Love is Here. It's one of my favorite songs right now.
