I had a craving for Adobo today, but as most of you know, I've put myself on a diet since last Sunday so I'm trying to stay away that has anything to do with oil and fat. So I asked my Mom to make me Tofu Adobo instead of the typical types of Adobo (Pork or Chicken)For those of you who aren't familiar with Filipino Cuisine. Adobo is a common dish that could be either pork or chicken simmered in a mix of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper corns and bay leaves. Tofu Adobo is pretty much the same, but instead of using pork or chicken, my mom used tofu instead.
I remember seeing it demostrated by Kris Aquino in one of her cooking segments in her old show, Boy & Kris. My mom tried the recipe for the first time a few months back, the same day after we saw the show. It was actually called Crispy Adobo Tofu, because the tofu is first fried until crispy and then cooked in soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper corns and bay leaves.

My sim couple, Mitch and Max welcomed another addition into the Porter household. I named him Marcus. Their eldest child, Matthew is turning into a young adult in a few sim days and will eventually move out and get married to his girlfriend, Betty.
The pilot episode of Darna aired on GMA Pinoy TV today and I thought it was ok (but it could have been better) I have never been a fan of pinoy fantasy series. It's been a while since I really liked one.
