Project : BABY

It has been a lazy afternoon for me today as I waited for a scheduled orthodontic appointment to happen, but a half and hour before the scheduled appointment, Dr. Cannon's secretary called and said that my mouth appliance hasn't arrived yet. So my appointment was rescheduled for next week. (SIGH) Another wasted afternoon.

So instead of moping about a wasted day, I decided to work on my sim newlyweds, Mitch and Maxine Porter. (Ok, so this blog is turning out to be a Sims 3 update blog instead of a personal blog, but hey, humor me... I'm having fun! But when there's something else, I'll write about it, that's for sure!)

After a nice wedding party, it's only logical for my newlyweds to take the next big step in having a family... HAVE A BABY. I wanted Max and Mitch to work on it right after their wedding party, but both of them were so tired that they hit the sack as soon as they got home. So the next evening right after dinner, I made sure Max (who came a little tired from work) had time to bathe and relax while Mitch did the dishes and cleared the counters.

Once they were comfortably chatting / cuddling in bed, I had them try for a baby but nothing happened. (In Sims 3, when a couple is successful in getting pregnant, a chime will be heard right after making love.) But both Max and Mitch had a smiley face (happy icon) and a red heart (in love icon) in their respective mood panels. I did the same routine for the next two sim nights and on the third night, I heard a chime! (YES! They're going to have a baby!)

The next morning...

Mitch left the house early to go fishing, leaving Max still sound
asleep until she woke up feeling nauseous and ran to
the bathroom and threw up. (morning sickness)

Mitch came home from fishing around lunch, (after catching 3 red
herring and 2 piranhas) and as soon as Mitch got home Max wanted
to tell him the good news. So here's a memento of Max's
announcement of her pregnancy to the father-to-be.
(Awww... Look at how sweet they are!)

In the next two sim days, both Mitch and Max had baby related wishes on their respective wishes/wants panels, especially the gender they want their baby to have. It wasn't surprising that Max wanted a girl and Mitch wanted a boy. (That is just so typical...)

Mitch wants a junior!
(Sorry Mitch, I want to get a girl this time so I'm going with Max.)



Max wants a little girl... and so do I!
PLEASE LET IT BE A GIRL THIS TIME!

I was asked to type in another trait, so since he obviously got his being artistic from
Max, it's only fair that I choose from one of Mitch's traits as well.
