How I've Missed My Sims!

Yes I must admit that I really missed playing with my virtual family, after 10 days of just taking a peek at them and not really having that big of a progress. I'm happy to report that I've had an ample amount of time playing last night despite the fact that I've been busy with my post-video editing/transfer duties for my sister and another friend. I'm almost done with it now it's just that I'm stuck with my sister's last DV tape that contained the the last part of the reception. I'm just waiting for her to buy a new tape cleaner to use on her videocam.

And now on to my long overdue Sim Family report, I've finally had Matthew (Max and Mitch's son) to grow up to a child from a toddler by celebrating his sim birthday.

("Excellent parenting skills? LOL!
More like "excellent manipulating skills"!)

Here's a side-by-side comparison of Matthew's features as
a toddler and now as a child. I still can't decide who he really
takes after.

I had the chance to add another sim trait
to Matthew's stats because of his sim birthday
and I chose him to be "Lucky"

After a few sim days passed, there were opportunities for me to choose a lifetime wish for Matthew. The first icon that appeared on his lifetime wish panel was to take after his dad, Mitch and be an astronaut, which I first thought would be just logical since he has his father's "athletic" trait but I passed on that thinking that he's better off with something different. Next appeared the "Master Of The Arts" icon , which is his mom's but I passed on that too. Then came this :

I thought this would be perfect since his father
has his athletic skills maxed out so Mitch can definitely
train his son to fulfill this lifetime goal.

As for Max and Mitch, I would like them to work on having another baby. (Most preferably, a baby girl this time please, I'm now desperate for this family to at least have one "princess" instead of having a lot of "princes" that I'm getting tired of already. (Remember, my very first sim family in Sims 3 had 4 boys --- 1 single birth and 1 multiple birth that resulted to triplets,) I might even resort to "cheating" by eating watermelons! (In Sims 3, if you want your sim to have a boy, have your pregnant sim eat apples or anything cooked with an apple as an ingredient during her pregnancy and if it's a girl they want let them eat watermelons or anything with watermelons in them.) I would like Mitch and Max to have the baby in time for Matthew's next Sim birthday.
