How I've Missed My Sims! ( Part 2 )

Here's part two of my long overdue Sims Update. Today EA Games (maker of Sims 3) released a new patch which had a lot of fixes for bugs players have noticed in the game since the last update they've released. At first I was very skeptical and unsure whether to install this new update or not. (Remember the last update I installed that totally wiped out my first "test family" - The Blacks?) So as a safety measure, I made a complete copy of my EA Games/Sims 3 folder and stored it in my external hard drive before I updated the game with the new patch, in case the same thing happens all over again, I could just replace the the whole updated folder with the old one. But to my relief, the new patch installed without giving me any problems. (WHEW!)

My first goal for Mitch and Max's son, Matthew is to get him to the honor roll at school. He starts out his first day of school, with a fixed starting grade of C. I'll use the opportunity to improve the skills he needed to achieve his lifetime goal to become a "Superstar Athlete" I made him do workouts and jogging during his free time. As for his studies, he seems to like studying because he does his homework by himself as soon as he gets home before everything else. I also had him use the kids' oven, painting easel and the telescope a lot to improve his artistic, cooking and logic skills.

After 5 sim days I had him on the honor roll but the weird thing is he never came home with any classmates that could be potential friends. I think I made the mistake of not using the "Meet New Friends" option when he is in school. But he has a lot of acquaintances but no friends other than Mom and Dad. Oh well, I'm just about ready to turn on aging again for him to turn into a teenager and have him make a lot of friends then.

As soon as I turn aging for Matthew, I'll make sure for Max and Mitch to get their "groove" on and get under the covers and make the "princess" I've been dreaming of...
