Unexpected E-mail...

I came across an e-mail in my box today. And since at first I wasn't familiar with the sender's name, my first instinct would be to delete it assuming it would be one of the hundreds of spam I receive almost everyday, but what's weird about it was that in the "subject" header, it had, "Are you Christine?" (Well, Christine was the original spelling of my first name, before I had it changed to Kristen, a while back.) so if curiosity killed the cat, I would be right now, because I could not help myself from not looking into the e-mail!

The e-mail turned out to be from an old classmate, a few years back, we both attended psychology classes at Harbor. (Psychology was one of my minor subjects back then, it was either I take the subject or be stuck with another useless minor subject, Astronomy. Don't get me wrong ok? Looking at stars are great sometimes but it tends to get boring after a while. ) She eventually got married and that's why I didn't recognize her name right away. She said, she got my e-mail through a mutual friend and she just got back to California after living in Canada for a few years and that's where she actually met the guy she married, just a few months ago. She's now, Mrs. Katherine Garrison!

Her email was quite a surprise actually, we were good friends in college, eventhough she is three years younger than me. and we even have mutual friends here. But back then she had to migrate to Canada where her Auntie was running a family owned business and she would be hired to manage one of the two branches they had. So communication between us became less and less since then.

But now, it feels great to hear from her especially now that she's married. She asked me if I had married someone myself or even have a special someone and I wonder what her reaction will be to my reply e-mail to her that I sent this afternoon.

EXCESS : I came across this video tribute to Kim Hyun Joong on Youtube And I think whoever did the editing had the knack for doing an awesome video presentation, WAY BETTER than my video projects in the past. See for yourselves!
