At The Lego Store at Downtown Disney...

One of my greatest passions as a child was playing with LEGO. Yesterday after eating at The Boiling Crab Restaurant, my family and I decided to talk a stroll off Downtown Disney to get off the pounds we just ate.

(The first plan was that we will go to Little Saigon or Chinatown to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year after eating out but due to some reason the celebration would be next weekend and not this weekend. I am not sure if we are still going to go next weekend or not.)

At Downtown Disney, I was hoping to go in at the Build-A-Bear Workshop but the line going in was long that even if we strolled all over and returned at the workshop the line would be just as long! So the next shop on my list was the Lego Store. As much as I loved playing with LEGO when I was young, the prices on the contraction sets were WAY UP THERE! I took some pictures of the displayed sets and one of them was over $300!

This pirate ship attracted me the most! As awesome and most likely challenging to build from the looks of it... it costs a whopping $200! (Tax not included.) Har! Har! Shiver me timbers! Even Captain Sparrow would think it cost a lot more than his Black Pearl Ship!

This GIGANTIC Giraffe was a major attraction for the kids (hey even grown-ups too!)
I wonder how many lego pieces did it take to build this one!
