Ripped Off?

I think I just got ripped off... what a way to start the new year huh? Last December 17, I made an online purchase for a Korean drama set of One Mom, Three Dads for $39.00 because it was on sale and the shipping was free. The package arrived today and I was so excited because outside packaging was pretty and it didn't look fake at all.. it had all the silver seals an authentic Asian DVD set usually has. Even the DVDs itself looked like the original, with the labels heat printed on the dvds and not on paper. But when I popped it on my DVD player, the video and English subtitles are not original at all.

Here's a screenshot from the DVD :

See the arrows I've drawn on the screenshot? I'm pretty sure an original dvd wouldn't have these. It is clearly a downloaded version originally recorded from korean cable TV, hence, the channel number, channel logo and the very obvious website address where they got the video from. (www.ental.co.kr) It's actually the same videos that I download to watch korean drama and english subtitles are didtributed freely. THIS IS CLEARLY A BOOTLEG!

I've reached a "return" arragement with the seller after proving to her my points about why the DVD is a bootleg. The other sad part about all this other than me getting ripped off is that I really want an orginal dvd set of this title and now I don't know if I should just get the EORs (Episodes On Request) that are for purchase on KBS America site ($5.00 per episode) or wait for a real american release of this title which I'm not sure when that will happen.

SIGH.

I'm so frustrated and disappointed.
