Who would have thought I'd have a blast watching She-Ra episodes in succession for the whole evening. Actually I wasn't intending to finish a whole disc but I did! (6-7 episodes in one disc, 6 discs make up the whole volume.) Ha! if my sister were here, she'd be teasing me for being so still into the "old school" cartoons more than the new ones! And to top it off, I'd put off my Korean drama watching for a bit in exchange of She-Ra all over again!
Some of the episodes also had Adam/He-Man in them which was so cool. They look good together, too bad they're siblings/twins. Watching She-Ra also made me want to have the He-Man series on my shelf too.... (sigh) they are so many titles I wanna have in my collection but so little money to buy them! I'd have to keep my eyes peeled for bargains if I'd really want He-Man in my collection too!
Did I hear someone say Thunder Cats? Hmmmm.... don't remind me. I loved the series too! Much like Silver Hawks, Superfriends, Smurfs, Richie Rich, Care Bears,Flying House, Superbook, Pound Puppies, Voltron, etc. I think I saw every cartoon that was shown when I was a kid! Can you tell "cartoon" is my middle name?
Anyway, I'm glad that some of these old school cartoons are available on DVD Sets for later generations to watch and for people like me who just don't know when to grow up!
