Instead of my usual nightly Korean drama watching routine, (I actually chose Hotelier, to watch after Did We Really Love? But I just haven't started it yet.) I decided to put in She-Ra, Princess Of Power instead. As I had posted yesterday, the second half of my first season She-Ra arrived yesterday but I had to start over from the very beginning because it's been a while I saw the first half of this set. I had a blast watching it... it brought me back to my childhood days when I used to really loved super hero / heroine type shows, like this one, He-Man, Superfriends, etc.
She-Ra is the female spin-off of He-Man & The masters Of The Universe. Prince Adam of Eternia (He-Man) had a long lost twin sister, Princess Adora (She-Ra) who had been kidnapped as a baby by Hordak and was brought Etheria and had been raised and trained to serve Hordak's Evil Horde without knowing anything about her real origin.
The 5-part premiere episode of She-Ra, The Secret Of The Sword, fully laid out Adora's real royal lineage as Princess of Eternia and how she became She-Ra. It was nice how they made Prince Adam and Princess Adora had that sibling bond, despite the fact that they grew up from different worlds and bearly knew they had a twin that existed.
I have one more volume to purchase to finish off the whole series, I'm praying that another good deal would come my way just like when I bought the last volume for $ 11.00.
ON TO SOMETHING ELSE....
2NE1's Dara release a solo digital single, KISS last September 7 to be featured as theme to the Cass Beer Commercial she shot with Boy's Over Flowers' Lee Min-Ho, (The guy who played Gu Jun-Pyo) I loved the song and also the commercial when I saw it on YouTube this morning.
