I've made some research on the net about an old book publisher /company that used to release my favorite tagalog pocketbooks before Valentine Romances but I think they've gone out of business or something since I can't find anything about them on the net or maybe I'm looking at the wrong places. But I did find others so I think I'll have other choices. Anyway, finding retailers of these books that are based here in the US are few, so I guess my best bet is when my Dad goes back home.
Some of my "Pinay" friends asked me to post an excerpt from a tagalog pocketbook that I've read or I've been reading so they may have a clue as to how and why these books can be so addicting. And I know that they also wanna see if the Tagalog terms used are not too deep or are easy enough to understand.
Here's the overview excerpt written on the back cover.
Bride For Rent
Julienne Lacsamana

Interesting huh?
