Still On BOF Mode...

After receiving my Boys Over Flowers DVD set, I can't help but miss the show (and my Ji-Hoo, of course!) I guess, I'm still on BOF mode. Well I still haven't started my "thorough" inspection of the DVDs (*INNOCENT SMILE* I have no choice but to watch it all over again just to see if it works ok... you know.) I'm still into "What Planet Are You From?", starring Kim Rae Won and Jung Ryeo-Won and I don't intend to cut it short just because I'm so hyped on something else just like the last time that I've started to watch the series, I'm going to finish it this time I promise!

These last few days I've been watching the "tagalized version" (tagalog-dubbed) of Boys Over Flowers on Youtube and sad to say I am pretty disappointed that a lot of scenes had been edited out, (It premiered just last Monday in the Philippines) and most of you know I despise dubbed versions and tagalog adaptations of Korean series because it's either they cut out a lot in the tagalog dubbed versions or they totally change the outcomes or the plots in the pinoy adaptations! So most of the time the story is so far from what was on the original.

Most of the time, I'm just curious to see how the tagalized version will come out knowing the original version turned out. Despite the massive editing they do to the tagalized version, it is still amusing to see characters "speaking " tagalog and how different their voices would be. In Ji-Hoo's case, his voice in the tagalized version is ok but it could have been better.

Cuts and all, I'm still saving the episodes ... just like what I did to the tagalized version of another favorite, Princess Hours. I have all the episodes on discs, too bad, it can only be played on a computer only. I hope they show it on TFC, just like Lovers In Paris.
