It's An Earthquake!

We felt an earthquake tonight around 8:30 pm while we were doing our nightly ritual of praying the rosary. And since I was actually sitting on the floor at the time, it seemed like it was stronger than that of the 4.7 magnitude that had registered on the scale. Anyway, I'm relieved that we are all safe.

On to the lighter side of things...

The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 7 of the playoffs against the Houston Rockets with the final standings at 4 (Lakers)-3 (Rockets ) and they're off to go against the Denver Nuggets (Carmelo Anthony's team, I think...) Yehey!!! Go Lakers!

A former neighbor (and friend) dropped by today for a visit, Mayflor. Her Mom and Dad are close friends with my parents. She lives now with her friends in Torrance. She seems to be doing ok and is/has gained some weight. But then again, she needs to be "big" for her job as a CNA, she carries patients way bigger than she is.

A few posts ago, I wrote about my "honey of a few months" (already!!! LOL!) Kim Hyun Joong (김현중) being here in los Angeles with SS501. (They were here May 6-10, but after performing at the Korean Music Festival at the Hollywood Bowl, they flew to Las Vegas NV to spend the weekend there, according to the reports.) This afternoon, The Buzz (a Philippine entertainment news show on The Filipino Channel) host, Kris Aquino excitedly announced that the cast of Boys Over Flowers are going to the Philippines in about 8-10 weeks time. (I'm excited too and I'm not even in the Philippines! ::GRIN:: ) JI-HOO SUNBAE will be in the Philippines!!! I hope I see footage of them somewhere in Youtube or PinoyTV because TFC cuts out stuff that aren't going to be shown here on TFC.

(Oh I also heard that Hyun Joong's "We Got Married" TV show wife, Hwang Bo is/was just in Cebu a few days/ or maybe 1-2 weeks ago, for a photoshoot, not sure what it was for though. AWWW... I loved watching the "lettuce couple" on WGM, they're so cute together!
