I'm Soooo Sleepy!!! (Sleep Over Experience Part 3)

It's been days since the sleep-over but I'm still soooo sleepy!!! I must be gettin' old! I used to get by without any sleep on girls' sleep-overs and now it's like I successfully got through it but the after effects are killing me, just like "I want to sleep triple the hours!" (LOL) I heard Cassie and Bunny are also having the same after effects ... and Sam... well as she had said at one time, "I am practically a modern day vampire because of my job at the hospital!" and I think that she really is! 3 of us (Bunny, Cassie and me) complained of not being able to catch on the sleep time we lost while Sam is totally the opposite, asking us to schedule another sleep over! I actually thought I'll be the toughest among the girls because I'm actually the only one sleeping 2 am almost every night!

Back to my "Sleep Over Experience" Part 3

Ok, since this is getting to be a long series of posts already and as I've said I'm still feeling it's after effects, I am not going to have a by-episode account of what every one thought of the story/ characters, but instead, just with the stuff that made all of us react/cry/angry the most.

The first 5 to 6 episodes of BOF can be summarized as the "Funny Unorthodox Way Gu Jun-Pyo courted Geum Jan-Di. Of course, at first Geum Jan-Di declares war against Gu Jun-Pyo after she gets rediculed, intimidated by the whole school as Jun-Pyo's wishes. But later on, he gradually develops feelings for her but Jan-Di is then still infatuaed with Yoon Ji-Hoo, (Gu Jun-Pyo's bestfriend among the F4) who's still so much in love with his first and only love, Seoyeon who flew to Paris to pursue her own dreams, willing to leave behind everything... including Ji-Hoo. (SIGH.)

Despite Jan-Di's growing feelings for Ji-Hoo, Jan-Di was able to convince Ji-Hoo to go after Soo-Hyun and he flies to Paris, France but around the end of Episode 5 and beginning of Episode 6, Ji-Hoo returns a completely different man, from the quiet, passive type to the girl dating- party type of guy, which later turned out to be just a "show" for his friends and a mask to hide the pain he really felt inside, because Seoyeon is supposedly engaged to marry another man.

I think Ji-Hoo first liked Jan-Di's spunky and talkative nature when they first met in the school building balcony and she was shouting to death about how bad Jun-Pyo and F4 as a whole. Since Ji-Hoo is the type of person who doesn't talk to just anyone because of his quiet/introvert nature, I assumed he liked her then because he actually talked to her, corrected her about the pronounciation of Jun-Pyo's full name.

While Geum Jan-Di fell in love with Ji-Hoo the first time he saw him playing his violin, while she was finding her way around Shinhwa, looking for the swimming pool (Jan-Di got accepted in Shinhwa through a swimming scholarship. )

Upon Ji-Hoo's return to Korea from Italy, Jun-Pyo and Jan-Di become a couple officially (Jun-Pyo insisted, Jan-Di objected LOL!) that's when Ji-Hoo started to jokingly insinuate that he and Jan-Di date behind Gu-Jun Pyo's back.

I know, this is not a good idea for a good guy like Ji-Hoo to do but a side of me wanted him to totally sweep Jan-Di off her feet and just drop Gu Jun-Pyo like a hot potato, but I am pretty sure Ji-Hoo just wanted to "test the waters" between him and Jan-Di at the time and it could also be a factor that Ji-Hoo is on the rebound from his break up with Seohyeon or He did actually miss Jan-Di while he was in Paris. (It could have been a little bit of the three... who knows?)

There was also this dream scene where in Jan-Di and Ga Eul (Jan-Di best friend) went to see a fortune teller while they were touring New Caledonia. The fortune teller said that she was with the person she was going to marry and one that is her soulmate. At first both Jan-Di and Ga Eul thought that Jan-Di future husband and soulmate were just one man but the fortune teller clearly emphasized that there were two different men. It would be right to assume that Jun-Pyo will be the future husband and Ji-Hoo is the soulmate. (As we all know, not all people end up with their intended soulmates... that's so totally unfair to my Ji-Hoo.)

Because of his broken heart, Ji-Hoo needed someone to lean on to, for comfort and consolation. Who else can be there to understand him? No other than Jan-Di of course! But one thing led to another, resulting in one bittersweet intimate kiss between Ji-Hoo and Jandi, which Jun-Pyo witnessed. (unintentionally) This started the the fight between Ji-Hoo, Jan-Di, Jun-Pyo and the other two remaining members of F4.

Jun-Pyo got so angry and jealous that he is out to have Jan-Di and Ji-Hoo expelled out of Shinhwa and Ji-Hoo out of F4. But out of the blue, Jun-Pyo older sister, suddenly appeared into the picture and now Ji-Hoo, Jan-Di, Jun-Pyo are competing against each other. As a result, Gu Jun-Pyo ended up forfeiting the competition and Ji-Hoo and Jan-Di are going to continue attending Shinhwa.

About between episode 8, Ji-Hoo and Jan-Di had a friendly date (Gu Jun-Pyo secretly followed them to all the places they've been that day, but Ji-Hoo noticed, he is Gu Jun-Pyo's bestfriend after all!) there was this one scene where in Ji-Hoo brings Jan-Di to his home and as they were drinking tea and Ji-Hoo dozed off again and laid his head on Jan-Di's shoulder. Jandi smiles and glances at Seoyeon's picture and says that she has to let go of Ji-Hoo, her first love. (I actually cried at the scene and the girls were joking that I shouldn't because Ji-Hoo is now completely mine! LOL!) I was like "Ji-Hoo, wake up! Did you hear what she said?!" Jan-Di left soon afterward, and the next scene was Ji-Hoo sitting on the same sofa that both he and Jan-Di were sitting on, opened his eyes and gazed up at the picture of Seoyeon, he said, "I should let her go..."

WHY?

BECAUSE OF YOUR BESTFRIEND GU JUN-PYO???!!!

I think if if both Jan-Di and Ji-Hoo were just honest with themselves in that scene, they would have ended up together! (Well, don't listen to me, it's just my bruised pride talking! (SIGH)
