Odds N Ends

Today's probably one of the windiest and coldest days. I HATE COLD, WINDY DAYS! I get allergies! I chose to stay in eventhough my sister wanted me to go with her and her friends to eat out for dinner. (Yup, I missed the chance to eat at Shabu-Shabu) Anyways, better safe than sorry later. I don't have my allergy medicine with me on hand right now and even if I did, most likely, it's going to be at home. So either way, it will be a bad idea to venture out no matter what I'll miss out.

Staying in isn't so bad. I'm used to just staying home without actally feeling sorry for missing out. Knowing my sister, I'll have many chances to eat out later... (but please, not on cold/windy days). So no worries.

Staying in gave me a chance to work more on my sister's presentation and also watch Episode 22 of Boys Over Flowers (꽃보다 남자) It was mostly like just a filler episode wherein instead of starting to zoom in on the big holes and gaps still waiting for answers in the storyline, it became an episode of odds n' ends. The first 15-25 minutes were the best part especially when the marriage ceremony of Gu Jun Pyo and Ha Jae Kyung were about to start and the minister/priest asked who objects to the marriage. The very first to raise and hand was the bride herself followed by F3 and Choo Ga Eul, then Jae Kyung said her piece. Eventhough, I am not a Jun-Pyo / Jan-Di shipper, at that moment, I felt relief for both of them. But I'm bracing myself for the pain Ji-Hoo feels now that Jun-Pyo and Jan-Di will "definitely" reunite again because of the wedding cancellation.

(SIGH) Love can be bittersweet sometimes! Can't help feeling sorry for someone like Ji-Hoo, who's still practically keeping his feelings for Jan-Di to himself. There was a scene in the episode where Ji-Hoo finally gets the courage to at least blurt out "I LOVE YOU" (saranghe in Korean) to the girl he loves, but the girl's practically asleep! (THAT SUCKS!) I was like ... "...of all the days to fall asleep, Jan-Di it had to be in that moment!"

EYECANDY, But completely useless scenes:

1. Jan-Di haircut by Ji-Hoo. I love Ji-Hoo, but Ji-Hoo, the barber? I already got the idea that he has the "Jack of all Trades" working out well for him but of all the stuff he could or might have done, he had to give Jan-Di a haircut?
2.Car Washing. Jandi offered to help Ji-Hoo watch his car. It looked like a fun scene especially the hose playing part. Ji-Hoo looked deliciously handsome as always but still, BOF could "live" without this scene.

There are more useless scenes in this episode that escaped my memory but the point is the writer and director should have just focused on the scenes that are needed to be done to satisfy their viewers instead of capitalizing on Kim Hyun Joong's (actor who's playing Ji-Hoo) popularity. He has had a lot of exposure on this show, a lot more that his character, Ji-Hoo should have. I LOVE IT AS A Kim Hyun Joong FAN but as a fan of Hua Si Lei/Rui Hanazawa/Yoon Ji-Hoo, it's sad because it kind of (in my opinion) degraded the character to merely serve as "eyecandy" for millions of girls who are "fantasizing" of meeting or having a handsome, compasionate guy for a boyfriend/husband/soulmate.

SIDE NOTE: I don't want/need a boyfriend for now!
