Just a short post, I'll be busy at the door, giving out candy! I'm also expecting my friends (with their children, and other younger relatives, etc...) to trick or treat here. If ever I'll see some of the grown ups in costume too since some of my friends are really into Halloween! My costume? ---- Isn't my face scary enough? (LOL!)
Anyway, have a scary night!
Liking a lot of things isn't so bad, it's only a matter of having an open mind to all the possibilities one person can do.

Hunting....
Alright, I'm not going to apologize for neglecting this blog for over a week now. I've been busy with lots of other things (Ok, I won't start because I know it's just going to bore most of you.) But I've been in constant contact with most of you either by cell and text messages, so I hope that's enough to compensate for my lack of post in this blog.
One of my "multitasking" activities is Christmas Albums hunting... yep, Christmas in October! As most of you know, Christmas starts real early in the Philippines. As soon as the "BER" months start (September -December) it's officially Christmas. Now my Dad will "usually" ask me to look for MP3's of the old Christmas albums we used to have in LP format (imagine that, LPs! That old!) Of course it's expected that I'll have a hard time looking, because not all LPs had been released on CD!
Anyway, it's both fun and frustrating at the same time...
But it's okay... Christmas is pretty much just around the corner.

He's Beautiful....
Do any of you still have residual withdrawal for this K-Drama? I can't say I still have some but I'm very willing to re-watch this show because of it's great story line and lovable characters, especially Tae-kyung and Go Minam.... and this time around on the Director's Cut DVD!
Yes I finally found the director's cut version of it out for download on ADC, but instead of the honest-to-goodness D9 copies, the D9's were split (no. not reduced in picture quality) into D5s (2 D5 discs per 1 D9 disc) so instead of the original 10 D9 DVDs, I'll have 19 D5 discs. As much as I really wanted to skip this one and wait for someone to upload the D9, (that might not even come) I'll settle for this set for now but if I'll ever get my hands on the Director's Cut D9's (whether it be on ADC or some other source like Netflix) I'll definitely download it/copy it for the betterment of my K-Drama collection. I'm downloading disc 5 of 19 as of now.

Jejoongwon Volumes 1 & 2 Complete....
I admit I had never been into medical related k-dramas at all since I got into my k-drama obsession, and I have no idea why. I guess, the subject was never appealing to me since the beginning. I remember having this same types of shows here in the US like ER and a string of other shows like it since the early 90's. But there was this Korean drama shown this early 2010 that might change my mind about watching medical dramas...
Jejoongwon 제중원 (濟眾院)
Jejoongwon is a historical-medical drama about the first modern hospital in Korea established in 1885. I am not that familiar with the male leads, Park Yong Woo (박용우) and Yung Jun Hoon (연정훈) or I just don't remember any dramas I may have seen then in. But it does feature one of my favorite Korean actresses, Han Hye Jin (한혜진). If you're not familiar by her name, any k-drama fan might remember her as Princess/Queen Soseono in another historical drama, Jumong ( 삼한지-주몽 편) or as Na Geum Soon in Be Strong, Geum Soon, (굳세어라 금순아).
I just downloaded the comeplete 2- volume set (12 disc in all) at ADC, on free leech, (Vol 1) and half-leech (Vol.2) so now I pretty much don't have an excuse not to try and watch this historical/medical drama. I hope and pray that it doesn't end up as just one of the many titles on my still-to-watch k-drama list.

Magic Knight Rayearth Season 1 Completed!
Anybody remember this anime? I do! Well not because I've watched it over and over like all the other anime titles I loved. Actually, I haven't seen this series in it's entirety ever... YES NEVER. But why do I remember?
I remember this show because the series premiered a few days or a week before me and my sister were scheduled to migrate here in the US. The episodes I saw in the Philippines were dubbed in Filipino (Tagalog) and probably edited.

This time around, I consider myself lucky as I saw this set out for download on ADC and on "free-leech" too. It couldn't get any better than that! I just finished downloading it this afternoon and I'll be burning them into D9's in the next few days and maybe I'll get the time to see it this time!

Garo DVD Set Complete!
I finally finished downloading the whole series of Garo (Fanged Wolf) Yes, All 7 volumes + 2 disc collector's edition of a full-length feature movie. It ate a lot of my share ratio on ADC but it is well worth it.
As most of you know, I first saw the series first thanks to the encouragement of a friend who recommended it to me as worth watching... and the rest is history! I LOVE THIS SHOW! And a couple of weeks back I saw the R2J DVDs with custom English subtitles of this series on ADC! So I've been busy downloading up to now til I finally finished Volume 7 of the set! YIPEE! I'll probably watch this one again soon since it's going to be on my DVD player this time around.
I'll probaly leave all the volumes on my second HD for a few days and wait for someone to seed for and then delete them to be able to download other titles on my list. It actually occupies most of my second HD right now.
LONG LIVE GARO!

I M O R T A L....
I've been waiting for this show for months now and now it's finally here --- it starts tomorrow I mean. In my own description, it's like US' Twilight meets the Philippines' Lobo.
ABS-CBN's newest addiction to it's Primetime Bida, IMORTAL. It's a story of "forbidden love" between a wolf and a vampire.
Also dubbed as the sequel to the ABS-CBN' Network previous Primetime Bida offering, Lobo, which starred, Piolo Pascual as Noah Ortega & Angel Locsin as Lyka Raymundo that aired around January - July 2008. Now for 2010, Angel Locsin is again a Lobo, but this time, her character, Lia Ortega, is supposedly the daughter of Noah and Lyka Ortega (of Lobo) and her newest leading man, John Lloyd Cruz, ( Yes, I say "new" because they have never been paired before.) will be Matteo Rodriguez, who's a full-blooded vampire.

Looking back, if I remember correctly in the Lobo series, main characters, Noah and Lyka got married and in the last minutes of their last episode, it showed that Lyka gave birth to twins, one boy and one girl, so if Lia is their daughter, I wonder if something will be said of Lia's twin brother in IMORTAL. I mean what happened to her parents, Noah, Lyka and her brother.
THAT WOULD BE COOL.
